IL PERCORSO SI SNODA IN SALITA MEDIA TRA UNA BELLISSIMA FAGGETA E UN RUSCELLO DI MONTAGNA DA CARTOLINA SU STRADA IN TERRA.IL PUNTO PIÙ ELEVATO DELL’ESCURSIONE CIRCA 1100MT VIENE RAGGIUNTO AL BIVIO PER IL MONTE CARMO DA DOVE SI GODE UNA VISTA A 360 DELLA COSTA . SI CONTINUA IN DISCESA SEMPRE SU STRADA IN TERRA FINO AD INCROCIARE ALLA PROPRIA DESTRA IL SENTIERO (DA PERCORRERE PER PRUDENZA IN ALCUNI TRATTI CON L’EBIKE A MANO) CHE IN MENO DI 15 MINUTI CONDUCE AL RIFUGIO PIAN DELLE BOSSE DEL C.A.I. DI LOANO DOPO LA SOSTA E L’EVENTUALE PRANZO AL RIFUGIO SEGUENDO UN PERCORSO APPOSITAMENTE REALIZZATO PER LE MTB SI RAGGIUNGE L’ABITATO DI VERZI LA CHIESA DI SAN A LIBERA IL CONVENTO DI MONTE CARMELO IL CENTRO BALNEARE DI LOANO,DA LI BORGHETTO E SEGUENDO IL TORRENTE VARATELLA SI RITORNA A TOIRANO

This is a simple bike path that leads you from Toirano to Borghetto, a little village by the sea.
Borghetto is connected to other more famous touristic sites like Loano to the east or Ceriale and Alassio to the west.

Along the trip you could visit the Toirano's caves and the famous sanctuary of Monte Carmelo, a great panoramic point. From there to Loano's port it's a piece of cake :)
A suggestive section is the lead to the top of the dyke.
Once in Loano among restaurants and little shops, follow the path to Borghetto, through secondary streets.

Percorso panoramico, permette di visitare il centro storico di Albenga e percorrere alcuni tratti ancora intatti della via Julia Augusta di epoca romanica.
L'itinerario conduce alla chiesa di Santa Croce con una percorrenza di circa 20 km con la possibilità di proseguire agevolmente con visita ad Alassio.

While on one way you will ride on a secondary road, slightly raising, on the way back you will have to take the "Aurelia", the main street (there is no alternatives but a lot of getaway point)

Alassio Ciclovia is a road path tailored to all that allows you to discover the hill in a dynamic and fun way, that allows you to discover in a completely new and dynamic way the hill and its riches.
After having left behind the inhabited ascent to the hill in a ponent direction, after a steep uphill and several back, you will find yourself at the ruderes of the San Bernardo Church, in correspondence of the first panoramic point, which offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the bay. It is continued by ascending to the Madonna of the Guard, the highest point in the Ciclovia, and also the most suggestive. Here you can enjoy a scenario that spreads from the Liguri Alps, with vettes beyond 2600 m, to the blue sea.
From here it begins the descent that, through the Cavia region, takes you to the Chiesetta of Holy Cross, with its romantic belvedere, overlooking the port and the Gallinara Island. An unforgettable panorama, which can only be photographed.

The first part of this route envisages a first stretch of climb on asphalt on the 'ring of the Alassio Ciclovia that leads to diving into a veritable Mediterranean jungle that gives the exotic name to this trail. Very sweet, easy and sliding path to travel quickly with a soak to the water source in the vicinity of the picnic area. It falls on the Ciclovia in the vicinity of the Pisana tower.

The Via Iulia Augusta that, built in 13 century B.C. at the behest of Emperor Augustus, connected Rome to southern Gallia. The route unites Alassio in Albenga and forms a historic-naturalistic walk among the most evocative of the Liguria, with a dramatic view of the island Gallinara. The route begins and ends from the apron of S. Croce, above the port of Alassio. Overcoming the Roman archaeological remains it is possible to reach with a small detour the medieval historical center of Albenga with the cathedral, its medieval towers and museums. A gita fit for the whole family, which unique well-being and culture.

La Ciclopedonale Maremonti è per la maggior parte su pista ciclabile, il facile percorso alterna tratti in galleria a tratti panoramici, la partenza è nei pressi dell'ufficio turistico di Framura, uno dei Borghi Più Belli d’Italia, e raggiunge Levanto, la porta delle Cinque Terre.
Il tratto di Bonassola vi stupirà piacevolemente con viste a sopresa sulla scogliera. Pedalare lungo la ciclopedonale Maremonti garantisce a osservatori attenti e ad amanti del wave watching punti di osservazione privilegiati dove l'ottimale esposizione al Libeccio unita alle caratteristiche della costa offre la possibilità di assistere ad alcune tra le mareggiate più spettacolari d' Italia.

An articulated tour that showcases all of the repertoire, of the typologies of cycling paths of the Bay of the Sun. From Aurelia they earn a hundred metres of quota going back to the church of Holy Cross ; they follow four km of the way Iulia Augusta goes. At the crossroads from the leading abbey, Saint Martin is beginning to follow, in strong ascent, the guinea pig "two red boils". A dirt goes up with some delightfully panoramic returns on the plains of Albenga. A few tens of meters along the ridge, and on the left appear the "S-toppled S" scorer that reports on the south side. It begins the "trail of the wave", perhaps the most iconic trace of the area : an incredible panoramic sea view, excavated on the steps of the quarzite of the falsehoods that loom above the port of Alassio. Technical difficulties and a few trialistic passages are compensated by the feeling of floating free between heaven and sea. It relaxes us a little bit, circumventing the Bignone and Pisciavino mountains, and preparing for "The Jungle." Exposed to the north, on the opposite side of the watershed, the ring swirl for softer and booby-sided slopes : a surprising change of scenery. To go back to the valley you can use one of the ridge's multiters. It is located the communal street for the Palazzotto, passes this large abandoned building and, a few metres later, in front of a villa with a curious garitta, begins the descent on selels, with the marked "two red losanges". The first trait does not incite fear, then takes a breath for a few metres on the "red boil" path and the mulattage begins to plunge with a slope no bad. At the end-ruzzled we find ourselves again in the city.

The tour of the Testic develops with departure from Alassio, percurring a stretch of Aurelia to Andora you begin the path on asphalt in the 'inland in the street in untrafficked plain, to reach the municipality of Stellanello.
From Stellanello begins a beautiful climb in the middle of the olive trees to reach the municipality of Testico where you can enjoy a typical ground ligure lunch on a panoramic terrace.
From here it begins the indentation on sweet salts and goes down to reach the top of the hill of Alassio, to get down to the train station in central country in front of the Municipality.
